DESCRIPTION:Give Blood! \n\nThe GTACC Health & Wellness Alliance has teamed up with MD Anderson Cancer Center to host a blood drive!\n\nMay 17th here at the Chamber Office. \n\n\n\nSIGN UP HERE\n\n\n\nIn addition - if you successfully give blood\, then you can provide the name of a MD Anderson Cancer Center patient and they will receive a $25 credit to their bill. EVERY BIT COUNTS!\n\n\n\nWe encourage that if you don't have someone to donate for\, please consider our Tomball firefighter. \n\nOn a side note\, Cancer is now the leading cause of firefighter deaths. The statistics are alarming at the number of firefighters with Cancer and numerous programs have been developed to lower the numbers but there hasn't been much of an effect so far. It is by far\, the biggest health related issue in the fire service these days. I appreciate you helping with one of our own guys battling this.
