At the committee's recent hearing in Arlington there were over 500 attendees and the committee heard over 11 hours of testimony. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area there was a 20% increase on residential properties over a two year period. It is expected that testimony will reveal that Harris County has seen a larger increase in that period.
