DESCRIPTION:As part of its mission to train the next generation of students and teachers\, the Richard Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity offers residential science\, technology\, engineering\, and math (STEM) summer camps for rising 8th-12th graders and for educators undergoing professional development. These camps are a one week residential experience\, where participants go through a challenging and interactive project based learning curriculum\, interact with college professors\, and develop skills in teamwork and communication.
