360 Degree Preparedness
Guest speaker: Rob Greening
This month we are very fortunate to have a speaker who has such a broad background in areas of emergency management that makes it hard to identify the topic other than 360 degree preparedness! He has studied, and likely experienced, most of the things we need to prepare for right now in our businesses and homes. Check out his bio…
Rob spent a long deployment in the US Army, then returned home and attended the University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He started a career with Sasco Engineering in 1975 and went back to school and got a second degree in Electrical Engineering. Rob also studied structural steel and building techniques in concrete in 1979. His minor was in Law and he recognized the need for law enforcement, fell in love with it, and graduated from the Arkansas Law Academy in 1982. He added a degree in Fire in 1983. He is a licensed emergency medical technician (EMT), a licensed police fire arms instructor, NRA certified instructor in pistol, black powder, recurve bow, shot gun and rifle.
Rob worked part time in law enforcement and fire protection while making a living as an engineer. Rob was Fire Chief in Lahoma, OK for 4 years, trained fire fighters in first responder techniques and became a licensed EMT just before coming to Tomball. He has attended the Tomball Citizens’ Police and Fire Academies and is a Certified CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) trainer. He is dedicated to teaching people how to protect themselves and their property by preparing for natural and manmade threats.
