Free Business Success Seminars at Lone Star College-Tomball

TOMBALL – To maximize the success of local businesses, Lone Star College-Tomball is conducting free seminars that address the needs of small business. This series of seminars, held Wednesday mornings starting March 21, will cover business networking, Facebook essentials and social marketing, and creating and managing client lists. No sign up is required and door prizes will be awarded.
 
The free weekly Business Success Seminars will be held on three consecutive Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the LSC-Tomball Community Library, room L-129, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway.
 
  • Wednesday, March 21: The CEOs of Networking– Mitchell From, founder of My Referral Network and partner at Element Payment Services, helps you determine which networking organizations to join, how many to join, and how to work them for maximum effectiveness.
 
  • Wednesday, March 28: Social Media - Trend or Blip on the Radar?– Terri Craig of MYMResults shows how YouTube, LinkedIn, blogging and Facebook are here to stay and how you can use them to grow your business.
 
  • Wednesday, April 4: Create Potential Client Lists– Kam Draper of Infogroup USA shows you how to master the use of Reference USA, a large database of businesses and customers available at your library. Expand your business by identifying key prospects and competitors with contact names, sales volume, employee size and more.
