TOMBALL – Workforce Solutions will offer two job-seeking seminars in November at Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway. Seminars are held on the second floor in the computer lab section. The “Creating a Resume/Completing the Application”seminar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. in room L-207. Participants will learn how to fill out thorough, accurate and neat applications and create effective resumes that make their education, skills and experience clear to the employer. The right application and/or resume will determine whether or not an applicant will make the interview pool. The “Landing That First Job”seminar will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. in room L-207. Participants will learn how to find a first job and build the necessary experience to launch their careers.
