Fundamentals of the Petroleum Industry Certification

This course is designed for those who need a basic understanding of the petroleum industry to perform their jobs, including:

-Technical/business professionals new to the petroleum industry or experienced in one area
-Investors/financial professionals with a need to better understand the petroleum industry
-All levels of petroleum industry support staff

Students will learn the basics of upstream and downstream activities, as well as how hydrocarbon deposits are formed, explored, and produced. Courses are hybrid; mainly on-line with some classroom instruction.

This course includes Fundamentals of the Petroleum Industry, Parts 1, 2 and 3.  Each individual course is 32 hours and costs $750.  The total number of hours for all three courses is 96 and the total cost is $1,800.
