Grand Opening Of Tomball's HEB Children's Literacy Center

HEB is excited to announce the grand-opening of the first-ever, in-store H-E-Buddy Children's Literacy Center at the HEB in Tomball, Texas. "The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go," said Dr. Suess, a widely known American writer and Cartoonist. With over 75 kids joining the excitement, opening day will include visits from Dr. Suess' Cat in the Hat, a local cartoon artist, and 12 year old author, Sara Nesbit. In addition, H-E-Buddy will make an appearance! The Literacy Center will feature a small stage and a mural, as well as a place for kids to relax while listening to story time. Ms. Sam, a retired nurse, will host frequent story times with local kids where she will lend a helping hand in building a strong foundation of literacy. Weekly activities, ranging from coloring contests to book signings, will be offered to provide kids with an opportunity to expand their knowledge and creativity!
