Dementia - Putting The Pieces Together
Speaker: Elaine Kiehler, B.A., AS/TXC, CDC, CADDCT
Elaine has been working with residents with dementia for over 15 years. She is currently a Memory Care Program Director with Brookdale Senior Living and a mentor for onboarding Clare Bridge coordinators/managers new to the Brookdale memory care environment.  Elaine has extensive experience providing support groups for families dealing with dementia both as a facilitator through the Alzheimer’s Association and currently with Brookdale.  Elaine received her Bachelor’s degree with honors work in Gerontology.

Elaine will be joined by Jessica Jones, Health & Wellness Director at Brookdale - The Solana Vintage Park. She knew at a tender age that she wanted a career that serviced others. It's not until she moved to Houston from Long Island in 2015 that she found that passion with the elderly community. Having prior experience in skilled nursing and assisted living, Jessica takes pride in her nursing skills that allow her to care for this deserving population. When asked about her top priority as a Health & Wellness Director she stated communication. "It is one of the most important things we can having in every relationship we create."

Various businesses will be on site to visit with prior to and following the luncheon.
