National Youth Theater Presents Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka

The National Youth Theater (NYT) is excited to announce its upcoming fall production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka. Step into a world of pure imagination with Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, a delightful musical that brings Charlie Bucket and the eccentric Willy Wonka to life. Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka tells the story of the enigmatic candy manufacturer, Willy Wonka, who stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his delicious candy bars. The lucky finders of these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. However, four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, while the fifth is a likable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour with his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory or face the consequences. This talented cast, comprised of ages 8-19, will present the show on November 1-3 at the Lone Star College Tomball Performing Arts Center.
