Friends of NRA events boil down to one goal—fundraising for the future of the shooting sports. Since its inception in 1992, Friends of NRA has held close to 22,000 events, reached over 4 million attendees and raised more than $885 million gross for The NRA Foundation.
 The NRA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is the philanthropic arm of the National Rifle Association. Fundraising efforts through the Friends of NRA program allow The NRA Foundation to provide critical funding to educational firearm programs on the local, state, and national levels. Established in 1990, The NRA Foundation has funded over 49,000 grants, becoming America’s leading charitable organization in the support of shooting sports.
