The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts will host a free concert on Sunday, March 6, as part of the Wanda M. Pauling Pearlformance Concert Series. “Love Springs Forth” will be presented by the Chamber Singers and Concert Choir of Lone Star College—University Park, featuring many works that celebrate the role of flowers in the choral arts. Guests will be surrounded by a stunning exhibition of hyperrealist floral paintings by artist Jane Jones, one of the featured exhibitions at the Pearl this spring. The concert will take place at 4 p.m. in the museum’s Main Gallery. The concert is free but reservations are required by calling the museum at (281) 376-6322. For more information visit pearlmfa.org. The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts exists to provide direct, first-hand access to original works of art, and to offer outstanding educational and public programming. As the only Fine Arts museum in Harris County outside the city center of Houston, the Pearl operates completely through the generous donations of individuals, businesses and foundations from the greater Houston community, and is free to all.
