Houston, TX– May, 17 2011 – Sometimes, it’s easy to drive the highways, walk the sidewalks or talk to those we see every day and overlook the good that is happening all around us. What if, for just a week, people not only saw the good, but shared a bit of that good with those around them?
In Regions’ Share the Good Weeks, May 16-28, Regions Bank (NYSE:RF) will do just that: returning a bit of that good to the communities it serves as bank associates from Tomball, Pinehurst and Magnolia work in the community volunteering, doing random acts of kindness and generally honoring the good in the community.
“In a very direct sense, we owe the strength and stability of our company to the people we serve here,” said Houston President Ryan Colburn. “It’s the community’s confidence in our company that makes us successful, and we simply want to share a part of the good that we see here and what we’ve been given back with the community.”
In many instances, local organizations and community members will benefit from Regions’ Share the Good efforts while others may receive a special thank you, smile or helping hand.
In the next two weeks, Regions plans to:

• Conduct Food Drives at all three Regions locations;
  • Tomball (810 W. Main,  Tomball TX 77375)
  • Pinehurst (32323 S.H. 249, Pinehurst TX 77362)
  • Magnolia (18934 FM 1488, Magnolia TX 77355)
• Child ID Days conducted by local police;
  • Tomball 5/21; 8 AM – NOON
  • Pinehurst 5/21; 8 AM – NOON
  • Magnolia 5/28; 8 AM – NOON

• Will Host Blood Drives;
  • Pinehurst 5/21;             9 AM – NOON (MD Anderson)
  • Tomball 5/23;               10 AM – 1:30 PM (Gulf Coast Blood Bank)
  • Magnolia 5/23;             10 AM – 2:30 PM (Gulf Coast Blood Bank)

•  Will conduct multiple customer appreciation events at all Regions branches;
• Will have an ongoing sweepstakes for a Regions Bicycle.
