Texas Master Chorale: 40th Anniversary Concert

Texas Master Chorale will celebrate their 40th Anniversary on Saturday, May 3, with the world premiere of a piece commissioned especially for them.   “A Poetry of Psalms,” was written by Taylor Scott Davis for Texas Master Chorale’s 40th Anniversary. The piece takes its text from Psalms 8, 96, and 113, as well as poetry by Emily Dickinson and E. E. Cummings. The concert will take place Saturday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. at John Wesley Church, 5830 Bermuda Dunes Drive in Houston, 77069. Tickets are $25; students are free with school I.D.
