Texas Master Chorale presents “Laud to the Nativity”

Texas Master Chorale will present a Christmas concert featuring "Laud to the Nativity" and traditional Christmas classics on Saturday, December 15. Written by Ottorino Respighi, "Laud to the Nativity" is a composition deeply steeped in historic Italian imagery. In it, Respighi richly blends several musical styles to honor the sentiment of the nativity story, as well as the historical importance of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy. Featured soloists in this performance are Lisa Morales, Heather Buzonas, and Wesley Lawrence. Founded in 1986, Texas Master Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble of 100 auditioned singers who perform a variety of choral masterworks including classical, contemporary, sacred and secular.
