Tomball Chamber to Host Candidate Forum Featuring Local House Districts

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is giving the community an opportunity to make informed voting choices by hosting a candidate forum on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m.
 
The event will feature both republican and democratic candidates from Texas House Districts 126, 130 and 150. 
 
Confirmed forum participants are: candidates for District 126: Joy Dawson-Thomas, Cris Hernandez and Kevin Roberts; candidates for District 130: Dr. Tom Oliverson and Kay Smith; District 150: Dr. Theresa Hearn-Haynes, Michael Shawn Kelly, Debbie Riddle, Valoree Swanson and Al Zolli. 
 
The primary elections will take place on March 1, with early voting beginning February 16. Polling locations and voting schedules may be found at www.harrisvotes.org.
 
There is no cost to attend the GTACC candidate forum, and the public is encouraged to attend.
