Floss Dental Launches Veterans Day Initiative Offering Free Routine Exam and "Smile Makeover" to One Local Veteran

Tomball, Texas – November 11, 2025 – In honor of Veterans Day, Floss Dental invites the community to nominate a U.S. military veteran to receive free routine exam, restorative, and cosmetic treatment as a gesture of gratitude for their service.

Through this special promotional initiative, Floss Dental aims to give back to the men and women who have bravely served by restoring oral health, confidence, and a life-changing smile for one deserving veteran. All complimentary dental services will be provided at Floss Dental of Tomball.

As an added bonus, the community member who submits the winning nomination will receive a pair of lower-level tickets to the Houston Texans vs. Las Vegas Raiders game on Sunday, December 21, 2025 — parking pass included (tickets valued starting at $700). *Restrictions may apply

Nomination Details

Eligibility

  • Nominee must be a U.S. military veteran

  • Must reside in Houston or the Greater Houston area

  • Veterans may be nominated by someone or nominate themselves (*restrictions may apply)

  • Selected winner must be willing to be filmed and have their experience shared on all social media platforms of @drmiketran

    BONUS! The person who nominated the winner will receive the pair of lower-level Texans vs. Raiders tickets, including the parking pass. *Restrictions may apply

How to Nominate

 

Community members can submit nominations by emailing outreach@flossdental.com.

Submission Requirements

 

  1. Include a photo or video of the nominee and list which military branch did they serve, when, and how long.  Also include their direct contact information. 

  2. Explain why the nominee should be selected and how receiving dental services would benefit them.

  3. Describe any current pain or challenges the nominee is experiencing due to their current oral health, and how it has negatively affected their life.

     

Deadline

All submissions should be made no later than November 25, 2025 at 6pm CST

One winning veteran will be contacted directly, and dental treatment will be coordinated through the Floss Dental of Tomball office. 

Fine Print

Free routine exam, restorative and cosmetic dental treatment (specific procedures determined by provider after evaluation).
Winners are responsible for all follow-up appointments and any associated maintenance costs not covered as part of the initial consultation, exam, restorative, and/or cosmetic dental treatment of their "Smile Makeover".
*A self-nominated winner does not qualify for the complimentary Texans tickets and parking pass.
